The Riddler and villain team are in a meeting trying to figure out how to rid themselves of the super friends forever. During the meeting a news flash appears on television. An ancient tablet has been discovered with a riddle inscribed on its surface. This riddle promises "untold fortunes" to those who solve it's puzzle. Two teams battle out is riddle: The Super Friends and the team of super villains. 
 
Trying to buy themselves time, the villains send the heroes a clue as a distraction. Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman decide to investigate this clue while Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman keep crackin' the riddle. 
 
Both teams solve the riddle and head to it's location to claim the prize and arrive simultaneously. They discover the prize was a fake and are met by the Duke of Deception. They both discover that the prize was just a way to awaken the Colossus of Rhodes! The Colossus goes toward the nearest city and starts destroying the city on his way. Both teams join forces to stop the Colossus and take Duke of Deception into custody.
